Sekada at AYMOD 2024 | 118 m² Maxima Exhibition Stand
A 118 m² Maxima exhibition stand for Sekada Shoes at AYMOD 2024, combining open circulation, clear branding and custom wooden footwear displays.
DESIGN APPROACH
An open display layout that puts the footwear collection first
The Sekada stand was planned as an open environment where visitors could view the collection from several directions. The clear lines of the Maxima system were combined with grey tones, illuminated shelving and prominent brand surfaces. The result was a contemporary exhibition setting with readable sightlines from the surrounding aisles.
Custom display units made from wooden panels followed the inner perimeter of the stand. Footwear was presented at eye level in a continuous rhythm, while central meeting areas remained connected to the visitor route. Rather than separating product browsing from business conversations, the 118 m² layout brought the two activities together. The project was delivered at Istanbul Expo Center for the September 2024 edition of AYMOD.

PROJECT DECISIONS
Decisions that shape the details
Product display
Illuminated wooden display units presented the footwear collection along an accessible perimeter.
Visitor flow
Open corners provided entry from different directions without interrupting the collection display.
Brand visibility
High-level Sekada logos and focal wall graphics identified the stand from surrounding aisles.
Modular structure
The 3 metre Maxima system combined a clear architectural frame with coordinated installation.
BUILT PROJECT AND DESIGN
From concept to the exhibition floor.

Coordinated production and installation at Istanbul Expo Center
The Maxima structure, lighting, graphics and custom wooden footwear displays were coordinated on site for AYMOD 2024. Installation photographs show the intermediate build stages as well as the completed exhibition environment.
The design gallery is presented separately from the real build photographs, allowing visitors to compare the proposed layout with its physical execution. This distinction is particularly useful when evaluating shelving, circulation and brand surfaces for a footwear exhibition.
