DESIGN APPROACH

A two-open-side display strategy that puts the collection first within 36 m²

The Heimtextil Frankfurt 2026 exhibition stand for Casa Naturale was installed on a 9 × 4 metre, 36 m² space at Messe Frankfurt for 13–16 January 2026. Its corner position and two open sides were used to make the brand’s curtain and upholstery textile collections visible from two aisle directions.

The architectural language is defined by raw chipboard finished in RAL 7021 dark grey paint. This strong, neutral background gives visual prominence to the light, warm and patterned textile samples while creating a coherent setting for the Casa Naturale identity. Rectangular frames and broad openings define the stand without making the 36 m² footprint feel enclosed.

U-profiles along the long wall organise the curtain samples in a continuous display. Positioning them at a consistent rhythm and at a height visitors can approach makes it easier to compare the collection’s patterns and textures. Separate presentation niches close to the open edges place selected curtains beside upholstered seating, showing the materials in small interior-style compositions.

Grey carpet flooring creates a soft transition between the dark walls and the textile products while visually separating the display area from the hall aisle. Track-mounted spotlights target the long curtain wall and the exterior display groups, supporting accurate perception of colour and texture. Illuminated brand signs complete the identity from both open directions.

PROJECT DECISIONS

Decisions that shape the details

01

9 × 4 metre plan

The 36 m² linear footprint supports access from two open sides and a continuous product display wall.

02

Two open sides

The corner position improves visibility from different aisle directions and makes the stand easier to approach.

03

RAL 7021 painted chipboard shell

The dark grey surface forms a balanced background that brings patterned curtains and upholstery textiles forward.

04

U-profile curtain display

Profiles along the long wall organise a large number of curtain samples for clear comparison.

05

Carpet flooring

Grey carpet separates the display area from the aisle and continues the restrained architectural palette.

06

Focused track lighting

Spotlights directed at walls, signage and textiles reveal the collection’s patterns and surface qualities.

04 / PRODUCTION AND INSTALLATION

Delivering the painted wooden shell and product-focused display on site

The main surfaces of the custom-built stand were produced in raw chipboard and finished in RAL 7021 paint. Outer frames, internal display walls and presentation niches along the open elevations continue the same dark tone. This consistent treatment creates a high-contrast but restrained setting for the logo, curtain samples and upholstery textiles.

Spacing between the U-profiles on the long wall was arranged so that samples could be presented without obscuring one another. Carpet installation, track-light positioning and brand visibility from both open sides were treated as connected parts of the on-site build. All five gallery images show the completed stand at Messe Frankfurt.

Why does display planning matter in a home textile exhibition stand?

For curtain and upholstery collections, the total floor area must be planned together with the number of samples, hanging system, touch distance, lighting behaviour and meeting requirements.
